Subject: tire question
25th February 2013, 2:37 pm
I am very new to four wheeling.
I have an old f150 4x4 1985.
it has 31/10.5 15 tires on it.
can those rims handle a 33/12.5 15
or must i buy rims that are 12.5
do any of you guys sell your old tires?

You'd probably want a 10" rin for the 12.5's. an 8" might work but i'm not sure.
Some of us sell used tires. If you're on Facebook there's a group for 4x4 parts in KY.

Eights are fine. I have seen 12.5's on sevens. The tire width protects the wheel from being ripped to peices by rocks and such.
