95 ZJ Limited 5.2 Build Thread

First topic message reminder :

Having 2 Jeeps is fun (or a curse?)

Build thread #2 for me.

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2 v8
Currently stock driveline and suspension.

First part of this thread will be addressing its issues, which include:
Severed wire to door for power windows *FIXED
Blower fan not blowing *FIXED
Gas gauge/temp gauge not working *Fuel gauge never broken/temp sender bad
Dash lights not working *FIXED
Engine misfire
Possible broken pinion in front diff or other catastrophic problem. *destroyed outer pinion bearing. Looking for another axle.
Driver side mirror needs replacing
No radio, previous owner wiring mess
Only brake lights work in the back *FIXED
Turn signals don't work *FIXED
I'm sure I'll find more...

Finally got the driver's side hub off, of course it was wobbly as hell. Fortunately a club member had 3 old ones that seem tight so I'm gonna try them out.

Next problem is I can't seem to be able to get the axle shaft off the CV joint. On the other one's I've done, a few taps with a BFH and it came off. I've beaten the crap out of this one and it won't come apart. I definitely think CV joints are just as strong as U Joints.

Changed the spark plug wires on Sunday. Didn't change much. Although there's a lot less driveline noise, the engine has a bad miss and rattles everything. Need to get that sorted out before I can really start driving it. Hoping new plugs, cap, and rotor solve it, otherwise I get to enjoy the game of troubleshooting.

Sold it... Someone else's project now. Didn't have the time or $$ to mess with it. Gonna focus on the niner now.
