| I was up on the top of my TJ and noticed that I have a wear mark over one of my bows. My top is in relatively good shape. I have been on some of the tuner forums and heard of a product called Plasti Dip. They use it for their wheels and body panels. Its a liquid rubber coating in a spray paint can. I have recently started to use it on my dash and surrounds. I also blacked out the chrome head light surrounds. It's protective qualities are excellent. If you apply a couple of coats, you are able to peel it off without any damage. It's a great product. So now back to the soft top... The wear mark hasn't gone all the way through, so it doesn't leak, YET. I plan on spraying it with the Plasti Dip to seal the wear mark. This stuff is durable, doesn't dis-color, and maintains its flexibility. I think it should hold up fine. Oh by the way... It comes in spray paint cans and gallons. It can be sprayed by the gallon with a Wagner power sprayer. You can change your body color in a matter of a coupe hours or so. You can purchase the spray cans at Lowes, but the gallons have to be ordered over the net. Just a little FYI. | |

Easy enough. You should be able to find whole kits there. | |

| Maybe think of it as a really really thick coat of wax... Hopefully that gets scratched off before it gets to the paint/primer/bedlinermaterialofchoice/metal
