i know of a guy who builds tranies for discount transmission on popular level. i don't know how to get in contact with him other than to just drive there and ask for him. but i've seen the guy work and he can rip apart some tranies and slam them back together in no time. my suggestion would be to just make a trip up there and ask for the builder, they call him J.R.

We have one down this way that does our tranmissions for the race trucks, only had one small issues with one and he fixed it with no questions asked. He knows what we do with the transmission so its not like we were tryin to slip something by him. He (or atleast last time we had one built by him) had a pretty long waiting list. He stays busy but does good work. I dont know about being cheap as we have only had him do our work.

The price we were paying (havent had one built for about 1 1/2 yrs.) was 400. But we had old (non-electronic) C6 Ford Tranmission.

I dont have his number off hand but i will get it for you. He does alot of drag racing transmissions as well. If you ever been to the drag strip an seen Brads Trans on a car, thats more then likely his work.
